Advice
for parents
So that your children can fully enjoy their lesson, we recommend:
- You equip them with a helmet, mittens, sunglasses, sunscreen, tissues and a warm ski jacket
- You label their skis
- You don't stay around and wave at your child during lessons
- You tell us if your child has health issues
- You give them a helmet even though it is not compulsory
- You let instructors change their group if needed
10 good practice guidelines
- Do not put others in danger
- Adapt your speed and behaviour depending on the slope and the weather
- Choose a trajectory that does not put the downstream skier in danger
- Overtake another skier when you have sufficient space to do so
- Be sure to know when it is safe to enter a slope (Exam on uphill and downhill)
- In case you fall, quickly free the slope and always stay on the sides
- Use the sides to go up or down by foot
- Skiers need to respect the signs
- Help each other when someone is unjured
- If you witness or are part of an accident, communicate your identity
